About This Product

■Viton® diaphragm

Viton® is a type of fluororesin elastomer (synthetic rubber) with excellent heat resistance, acid resistance, and chemical resistance. The performance of fluororubber in aggressive chemicals varies depending on the grade of elastomer. There are three grades of Viton diaphragms currently in use.

■Summary

-Viton is the most commonly used version of Viton, but should not be used with most ketones, esters or prolonged vapor exposure. ・VitonA (SR) The steam-resistant version of VitonA provides excellent performance under extended steam conditions. -VitonGF is more chemically resistant than VitonA and has superior steam resistance. However, it should not be used with most ketones and esters.
