■Advantages

- Fast delivery, ready to operate: Mounted on the base frame, the unit saves space and is easy to transport and set up. Additionally, upon customer request, the container can be equipped with a complete SIGMA PET AIR system and delivered ready for operation. ・Unmatched cooling performance at low cost: Most of our boosters are equipped with an air-cooled aftercooler. Air-cooled units eliminate the cost of water-cooled systems by equipping each cooler with a fan motor to minimize the air temperature difference (ΔT) between the inlet and compression sides. - Benefits of low maintenance: Since the SIGMA PET AIR system has only two compression stages (rotary screw compressor and booster), maintenance demands can be significantly reduced compared to a multi-stage high-pressure reciprocating compressor with atmospheric pressure compression. ■Rotary screw compressor with energy-saving design

The energy-saving Sigma profile has been developed and optimized by Kaeser Kompressors and is the basis for control and process air production.

■Highly efficient booster

Energy efficiency is also improved as the booster is precisely adjusted to the performance of the rotary screw compressor to maintain the booster compression ratio to a minimum.

■Class 1 compressed air quality

SIGMA PET AIR systems produce technically oil-free compressed air while reliably maintaining the oil and solid particle content below class 1 according to ISO 8573-1.

■Complete air receiver package

The air receiver is equipped with all necessary fittings, including electronic drains for both high and low pressure.

■Automatic control

The main control cabinet contains the KAESER CONTROL supervisory control unit as well as the booster controller (star delta) and fuses for all drives.
