About This Product

■Connector for electric vehicle charging/discharging system

The KW1C series is a connector that complies with the CHAdeMO standard and can be used in quick chargers. Conventional products use metal materials for the body core, but this product's body is made entirely of resin, making it approximately 20% lighter. However, like previous products, important mechanical parts such as latches and internal locking mechanisms are made of stainless steel, maintaining high reliability. It is ideal for mounting on quick chargers that are becoming more secure for use by general users and becoming smaller and lighter (wall-mounted type, etc.) for mass installation. Additionally, this product has a 3rd pin, which is not present in conventional quick charger connectors. This makes it possible to supply 12V power from an EV, allowing the device to operate even in situations where commercial power is not available in applications such as V2G and portable power supply, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. This product has obtained UL certification for the United States and cUL certification for Canada, and also complies with JCS standards, so it can be installed in products for the North American and Japanese markets.
