About This Product

■Charge/discharge connector compatible with quick charging standard CCS2KW21A is a charging/discharging connector that complies with CCS (Combined Charging System) 2, a fast charging standard for electric vehicles that is mainly popular in Europe. It also supports European certification (CE) (IEC62196-3 compliant, certification body: TÜV Rheinland). Since it is a European product, we can respond flexibly to the demands of the European market.

In order to accommodate the spread of electric vehicles, charging infrastructure is being developed. To reduce the load on the power supply side, V2G (Vehicle to Grid) systems, which not only charge electric vehicles but also supply power from electric vehicles to the power grid, are expected to become widespread. Since the charge/discharge output per charge/discharge port in a V2G system is expected to be less than 30kW, the rated current (*) of KW21A is ideal for a V2G system.

In the future, charge/discharge connectors will be used by a wide range of people, and the KW21A has a light weight, compact size, ergonomic grip shape, and highly flexible cable specifications. , provides comfortable operability and ease of use. In terms of safety, the connector has a double insulation structure that waterproofs and protects the live parts inside the connector, which prevents short circuits due to water intrusion even if the exterior is damaged due to unforeseen circumstances.

*By changing the cable used, the rated current corresponds to 40A and 80A.
