About This Product

■In-vehicle USB 2.0 compatible

In recent years, car navigation systems with multimedia functions have been increasingly installed in automobiles, and they have become more sophisticated and entertainment-oriented, and recently motorcycles have also begun to be equipped with them. Under these circumstances, there is an increasing demand for connections between car navigation systems and mobile devices so that users can enjoy music stored on portable digital audio players and other devices. In order to meet these needs, JAE has recently developed the MX39 series as a USB 2.0 connector for automotive applications. This connector satisfies USB 2.0 transmission performance while also taking into consideration the environmental resistance performance requirements for automotive connectors. In addition, the applicable wires are shielded wires developed specifically for in-vehicle use. The connector's characteristics of being resistant to heat, shock, and vibration for automotive use make it suitable not only for automotive use but also for a wide range of industrial applications.

■Features

・Uses connectors and cables designed specifically for in-vehicle use ・Transmission performance satisfies the USB 2.0 standard, which is standard for general PCs. ・Double shielding structure with metal shell is adopted as an EMI countermeasure to eliminate noise. ・Horizontal pitch 2.2mm, 1 row 4 pole type ・Board connectors are available in right angle type and straight type. Right angle types are also available with different keys to prevent incorrect mating. ・The connector mating has a pry-resistant structure and uses a mechanical lock. ・In addition to the board-to-cable type, a cable-to-cable type is also available for cable relay (easy wiring work when assembling the vehicle) ・In order to ensure the performance and reliability of the total transmission path, we supply harnesses processed in-house.

・Number of poles: 4 poles ・Contact resistance: 8mΩ or less (initial) ・Insulation resistance: 100MΩ or more ・Withstand voltage: AC 500 Vr.m.s. (1 minute) ・Operating temperature range: -40℃ to +85℃ ・Applicable wire: Shielded twisted pair wire (Harness sales only)
