About This Product

When inserting O-rings used for fluid sealing in semiconductor devices and home appliances, the outer diameter of the workpiece becomes larger than the inner diameter of the O-ring when inserted toward the outer diameter side, and the inner diameter of the workpiece becomes larger than the inner diameter of the O-ring when inserted toward the inner diameter side. Since the outer diameter of the insert is smaller than the outer diameter of the insert, special jigs and operator skill are required for insertion work. Our O-ring smart insertion machine automatically performs everything from supplying O-rings to inserting them into target parts, which improves productivity and stabilizes quality.

■Original centering mechanism

O-ring smart insertion machine SmartO achieves smooth, high-speed insertion operation by being equipped with a uniquely developed centering mechanism (patent registered) that stabilizes the O-ring position and insertion posture. The O-ring insertion process, which would take several tens of seconds to do manually, can be done in just a few seconds.

■High expandability

To switch to a different diameter product, you can easily replace the dedicated head and supply unit without tools, and it is also possible to switch between inner diameter and outer diameter products. Its compact design allows it to be installed anywhere, making it highly expandable. By assembling multiple insertion units, you can easily create a system that inserts multiple O-rings into one product. By connecting it to a work rotary conveyor, work stocker, O-ring parts feeder, finished product take-out conveyor, etc., unmanned operation is possible from supplying O-rings to taking out finished products. It can also be equipped with a unit that performs laser marking and visual inspection.
