About This Product

Efficient lapping requires proper lapping plate selection. Select the plate according to the processing purpose (processing amount, surface roughness), processing material, and size/type of diamond slurry used for lapping. Each material of the Hi-Press plate is a composite of high-molecular polymer and metal powder, which has a certain degree of flexibility and elasticity, and holds diamonds uniformly and turns them into fixed abrasive grains. Process times can be significantly reduced and fine surface finishes can be achieved. Alumet Plate is a surface plate made of tin as a base, mixed with special metals, and subjected to crystal grain refinement treatment. You can obtain stable surface roughness, polishing rate, and plate life compared to pure tin. specification

Ideal for processing that requires a large amount of polishing.

■High press copper (Copper)

Ideal for intermediate finishing. This is the most versatile plate.

■High press tin (TX-10)

Suitable for final finishing. Ideal for wrapping before polishing.

■High press tin (Tin)

Suitable for final finishing. Ideal for wrapping before polishing.

■High press ceramic (Ceramic)

Prevents contamination of ceramic products. Ideal when you want to suppress metal adhesion.

■Almet plate

This is a surface plate made of tin as a base, mixed with special metals, and subjected to crystal grain refinement treatment. Compared to pure tin, you can obtain more stable surface roughness, polishing rate, and plate life.
