Among the popular drop-in multi-item measuring instruments, many people find it sufficient to measure only pH and temperature. For such people, this HI 98199 is recommended. In addition to being waterproof and robust enough for outdoor use, this is a professional-grade unit with tabletop performance. Interval logging, which allows data to be saved at regular intervals, can also be performed, and the saved data can be transferred to a PC.
■Applications
It is perfect for water quality surveys of groundwater and well water, surveys of the ocean, rivers, and lakes, water quality management in aquaculture, water quality measurements at construction sites, and applications where electrodes are inserted to measure and save data.
■Main features
- Ideal as a drop-in pH meter. (A pH electrode is included at the time of purchase, allowing measurement of pH, pH-mV, and temperature)
- Waterproof type suitable for outdoor use. (Body is IP67, electrode is IP68)
・The length of the electrode cable is 4m.
・Using a dedicated standard solution allows you to calibrate pH/EC/DO all at once, which is very convenient.
- Up to 45,000 data can be saved on the main unit. Interval logging is also possible with settings from 1 second to 3 hours.
- Saved data can also be transferred to a PC using the included USB cable.
- Check previous calibration information using GLP function.
- Backlight function convenient for outdoor use.
・Can be used continuously for approximately 400 hours. (When backlight is not used)
- The carrying case that can store all accessories has a compact design with a thickness of 85 mm, making it convenient to carry.
・Measurement of EC/TDS/resistivity/salinity/seawater specific gravity is possible by using an EC electrode (sold separately).
・Dissolved oxygen/oxygen saturation can be measured by using the DO electrode (sold separately).
