About This Product

■Features​Dräger Flame5000 is an explosion-proof flame detector based on image analysis. This visual flame detection system uses digital image processing and analysis of flame properties using advanced algorithmic calculations.

This principle provides a wide viewing angle and helps reduce false alarms caused by external factors. The Dräger Flame5000 is also equipped with a CCTV camera (color image output).

■Designed to minimize false alarms​The Dräger Flame5000 uses unique algorithmic image analysis to distinguish between actual flame conditions and various radiation sources that can cause false alarms. Therefore, unnecessary false alarms caused by the welding work environment, radiation from flares, and high-temperature CO2 exhaust gas can be reduced.

For this reason, it has been used in a wide range of fields, including industrial plants and oil drilling equipment.

■Wide viewing angleThe Dräger Flame 5000 can detect n-heptane fires larger than 0.1 square meters at a distance of 44 meters with a viewing angle of 90 degrees horizontally and 65 degrees vertically. The viewing angle of the detector is triangular pyramid-shaped, and the detection coverage area is one of the highest among currently available fire detectors.

■Flexible operability​The Dräger Flame 5000 can be used as a stand-alone device for monitoring Ex areas, transmitting live video footage, or can be connected to control systems and fire alarm panels to output fault and fire signals.

For connection with the host side, 0-20mA analog signal or relay output signal can be selected. In addition, by inserting an SD memory card, you can record videos of a certain period of time before and after the flame alarm. You can choose aluminum or stainless steel housing depending on the installation environment.
