About This Product

■Features

Quick measurement with one hand. The Dräger tube pump Aculo enables measurements with the proven Dräger tubes even in harsh environments. The easy-to-use Dräger tubes are already calibrated and together with the Dräger-tube pump are the perfect device.

■ Spot measurement anywhere

This manual pump is used for spot measurements such as detecting concentration peaks, entering enclosed spaces, and worst-case scenarios.

■Functional bellows pump

The Dräger-detector tube pump Aculo draws 100mL per stroke. During the measurement, the body of the pump (bellows) is pushed out completely together. The exhaust valve is closed while the bellows is open, so that the gas sample flows into the pump through the connected Dräger detector tube. The suction process ends after the pump body has fully opened to its original position. The end of the stroke can be confirmed by the pressure-controlled end-of-stroke indicator located at the head of the pump.

■Sampling

During sampling, the substance to be tested is first deposited on a suitable carrier material, such as activated carbon or silica gel. The air to be tested is drawn into each material at a predefined flow rate and duration. The substances accumulated on the carrier material through adsorption or chemisorption are then examined qualitatively and quantitatively in the laboratory using instrumental analysis such as gas chromatography.

■One-handed operation

Measurements may also be made in harsh environments, such as on a ladder, in a shaft, or while wearing heavy respiratory protection. The Dräger-detector tube pump accuro can be easily operated with one hand and enables reliable measurements even in difficult-to-access locations.
