State-of-the-art area monitoring – Dräger X-zone® 5800 can be used to measure up to 6 gases in combination with gas detectors Dräger X-am® 5000, 5100 and 5600. The built-in pump and continuous power supply capability for use in explosive zone 0 expands the range of applications for mobile gas detection technology.

■Innovative area monitoring

Together with Dräger's personal gas detectors X-am5000, 5100 and 5600, the Dräger X-zone 5800 forms a versatile and innovative area monitoring device. In addition to personal portable gas detection alarms worn by workers, these area monitors are placed in areas where gas hazards are expected, resulting in a patented combination that provides a high degree of safety.

■Easy to understand warning

Even from a distance, the green LED ring lights up to let you know that there are no toxic or flammable gases in the air. When a dangerous gas is detected, the LED color changes from green to red, clearly indicating the danger at a glance. Additionally, it will issue an evacuation warning with a loud, audible sound. The gas inlet of the Dräger X-zone 5800 is located in such a way that gas can be taken in from any side of the Dräger
