■Features The Dräger Polytron6100 EC WL is a wireless gas detector for continuous monitoring of toxic gases and oxygen. This wireless gas detector has an intrinsically safe explosion-proof structure and is SIL2 certified, and is battery-powered and has completely wireless signal transmission. Built-in battery pack provides up to 24 months of continuous operation. This allows us to develop flexible and cost-effective solutions for plant expansion, renewal, and new construction. ■Reducing the burden by going wireless Do you think wiring gas detectors is a financial, technical or time-consuming burden? Then the Dräger Polytron 6100 EC WL is the perfect solution for your ready-made stationary gas detection system. This is where the advantages of wireless gas detectors come in handy, especially in difficult detection conditions such as loading areas. The Polytron6100 EC WL is also suitable for mobile solution requirements, plant areas where wired cables are difficult to install and infrastructure is lacking. Wireless gas detection reduces planning effort while ensuring the same level of safety as wired gas detectors. Additionally, the Polytron6100 EC WL is also SIL2 certified. ■Selectable wireless standard: ISA100 Wireless or WirelessHART® Depending on the application, you can choose between two wireless standards. First, the industrial wireless standard ISA100a ISA100 WirelessTM is suitable for mission-critical wireless transmission. When using the PROFIsafe protocol, SIL2 certification applies to the system. The next widely used industrial wireless standard, WirelessHART®, is suitable for easy and flexible integration of wireless gas detectors into an existing WirelessHART® network (if one exists)
