About This Product
Photon Fandom is a reference LED light source for periodic inspection of optical measurement equipment that can be used for operational qualification (OQ) and operational qualification (PQ). Photon Fandom is a reference light source for periodic inspection of optical measurement equipment. It can output weak light with stable light intensity and excellent linearity, and can be used for periodic inspections of high-sensitivity imaging systems and high-sensitivity luminescence measuring devices in the life science field.
Optical measurement devices such as luminometers and imaging systems are widely used in the life science research field. However, the performance of many of these devices cannot be easily checked. Just like calibrating a pH meter with a standard solution, regular checks are essential for optical measurement devices.
Devices used to analyze trace components using bioluminescence or chemiluminescence are used to detect minute amounts of luminescence that cannot be seen with the naked eye. However, to periodically check such highly sensitive equipment, a very weak light source is required. With support from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, ATTO has commercialized Photon Fandom, a highly stable pW to fW level weak standard LED light source using RGB-LEDs.

・Light intensity stabilization with temperature compensation function
