About This Product

■RF2.4GHz transceiver

BC5602 is a high performance, low cost, fully integrated CMOS RFGFSK transceiver for wireless applications in the 2.4GHz frequency band. It includes a highly integrated 2.4GHz transceiver and baseband modem with programmable data rates of 125Kbps, 250Kbps, and 500Kbps. Data processing features include a 3-level 32-byte TX/RX FIFO and packet processing such as whitening and CRC checking. BC5602 supports a middle sleep mode with 30μA bleed current for fast XO startup. At 2.4GHz, the BC5602 can deliver -97dBm sensitivity at 250Kbps and +5dBm TX output power with 25mA current consumption. A fully integrated fractional-N synthesizer can support a wide frequency range with excellent resolution. An external host MCU can access the BC5602 through a 3-wire or 4-wire SPI interface. The device supports short strobe commands that reduce the load on the host MCU while maintaining the wireless communication link. Additional link layer features such as RSSI for channel evaluation, auto-acknowledgement, auto-retransmission, and 6-pipe star network topology facilitate microcontroller-based ISM band wireless link applications. BC5602 is also fully compatible with BC516x series transmitters and can be paired with each other in the role of receiver. It not only supports packet formats, but also supports all kinds of data rates for remote control related applications.
