■Summary
Luciol Instruments' LOR-200 is a portable high-resolution OTDR. Due to its high resolution, it is possible to perform fiber measurements that are impossible with general OTDRs. The LOR-200 provides a wide dynamic range by dividing the disturbance every 20 cm. Even with a short pulse width (2 ns), the dynamic range is 15 dB, making it possible to identify optical splitters on short fibers. There is also a 1,625nm wavelength option for measuring Live PON (Passive Optical Network).
