About This Product

■Product overview

NB3040 is a two-component epoxy adhesive newly developed as a halogen-compatible product for the oil seal of NB3000. It has excellent performance, combining low-temperature curing properties and low outgassing properties required for hard disks.

■Product features and applications

・Halogen standard compatible product for NB3000 ・Can be cured at low temperature ・Low outgas ・Compatible with halogen and RoHS standards

■Properties before curing

・Liquid: 2 liquid ・Mixing ratio (weight ratio): 100:10 ・Curing conditions: 90℃/1 hour ・Viscosity (after mixing): 2,800-4,800cP ・Pot life (23℃): 4 hours ・Storage temperature conditions: room temperature ・Quality guarantee period: 1 year

■Properties after curing

・Tensile shear strength: 130kgf/cm2 ・Glass transition temperature (Tg): 100℃ or more ・Linear expansion coefficient: 56ppm below Tg, 159ppm above Tg ・Optical refractive index: 1.57 (@589nm) ・Light transmittance: 97% or more (400-700nm) ・Shore D hardness: 87
