About This Product

■Product overview

Only Teflon tubes are placed in the well. Sensors and electronic circuits are placed outside the well, so there is no need to worry about them breaking down. This water level gauge is convenient when installing a submersible pump in a hot spring well, as you can place the Teflon tube around the hot water pipe and then attach the water level gauge itself later. Sensors and electronic circuits are stored inside the main body, which is placed on the ground, so it is safe. Our bubble-type water level gauge was featured in the "Hot Spring Monitoring Manual" on the Ministry of the Environment's website.

■Operating principle of water level gauge

When a pressure-sensitive tube is inserted into the liquid whose level is to be measured, such as in a well or liquid tank, and a fairly constant amount of air is pumped in from above, the air inside the tube is forced out the tip of the tube and escapes in the form of bubbles. At this time, the air pressure inside the tube reaches a pressure equivalent to the depth of the water, which is detected by a pressure sensor, converted to water level, and displayed.

■Characteristics of water level gauges (UT814A / UT816A each series)

・Only the pressure-sensitive tube is inserted into the water. ・Since the sensor part is not thrown into water, it can be used with hot water and chemical solutions. ・The pressure sensor uses our stainless steel leveler, which has a proven track record and high reliability. ・Connection with the compressor and pressure-sensitive tube is done with a coupler. -Equipped with a mechanism that injects high-pressure air from the compressor into the pressure-sensitive tube little by little. ・In addition to displaying water depth, the water level display has an adjustment function that allows you to directly read the underground water level. ・Supports external current output of 4 ~ 20mA.

■Features of UT821 water level gauge

・Built-in compressor eliminates the need to supply measurement air from outside. - Can measure fluctuating water level (water cover) up to 90m. ・Since measurement air is always discharged in small amounts, the groundwater table is stable with less bubbling. - It has a built-in compressor and is small, making it easy to install. ・Equipped with auto drain, which saves time and effort. Our control code is entered in the final box □ of the model number (standard product = 1).
