*Sapphire clamp plates are used in motor manufacturing to clamp the wire between two sapphire plates to create tension when keeping the wire feeding constant during the winding process. *One side of the sapphire plate and the corner radius on the running direction side are mirror polished to prevent scratches on the wire.
