■Product overview
The IS3480 is a compact omnidirectional and single line laser barcode reader. The omnidirectional read pattern provides excellent scanning performance with all standard 1D barcode symbologies including GS1 DataBare2. Button-driven single-line mode is useful for scanning items with multiple barcodes or selecting barcodes from a menu-driven price sheet. Additionally, scan lines can be turned on and off individually, allowing you to fully customize your scan pattern.
The scanner's main cable connector is located on the top of the unit for ease of installation. The auxiliary connector gives the user access to a large number of I/O signals, giving you the flexibility to connect to external beepers, trigger buttons, and LEDs.
The unique shape of the IS3480 engine allows the body to be fixed in a slim profile system. In addition, the IS3480 engine is equipped with Sweet Spot mode, which provides audio and visual cues to indicate the most desirable installation position for optimal scan results in fixed applications. Most importantly, the IS3480 itself is packed with powerful, cost-effective features such as easy programming, user-replaceable cables, and upgradable software to protect your investment.
