■Product overview
The General Aerospace Proximity Sensor (GAPS Series) provides on/off outputs and can be configured with an optional health monitoring output to the host system. The technology used by Honeywell in the GAPS series is considered an improved version of the traditional ECKO (eddy current prevention oscillator) topology that has been the standard in aerospace applications.
The GAPS series helps reduce downtime and maintenance costs with a unique circuit that can detect internal faults and indicate a fault output rather than a false positive or negative.
