■DescriptionThe MPR series is a miniature piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor that provides digital output pressure readings over a specified full-scale pressure span and temperature range. An onboard application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) calibrates and compensates for sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and nonlinearities within a specified temperature range.

This product is designed to meet the requirements of high-volume medical (home/general) devices, commercial appliances, and industrial/HVAC applications.

Compliant with IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020D.1 Moisture Resistance Level 1 requirements: Avoids thermal and mechanical damage caused by lower-rated sensors that can occur during solder reflow attachments or repairs. Stored in designated areas for unlimited floor life (easier storage and less scrap). It eliminates the long bake before reflow and enables lean manufacturing with stability and usability immediately after reflow.

-Digital output: Plug-and-play functionality facilitates implementation and system-level connectivity.
Total error band (total accuracy): True performance over compensated temperature range, minimizing the need for testing and calibration of all sensors, reducing manufacturing costs. This improves sensor accuracy and minimizes part-to-part variation, making sensor replacement easier.
