About This Product

■PX2 series

■Product overview

Honeywell's PX2 series heavy-duty pressure transducers are a portfolio of configurable pressure sensors that use piezoresistive sensing technology with ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) signal conditioning in a stainless steel housing. The PX2 series is fully calibrated with an onboard ASIC and compensates for offsets, sensitivity, temperature effects, and nonlinearities. These transducers measure absolute pressure, shield gauge pressure, and strain gauge pressure. The absolute pressure version has an internal vacuum reference and an output value proportional to absolute pressure, the sealed gauge version has an internal pressure reference of 1 atmosphere at sea level, and the strain gauge version measures pressure relative to ambient pressure. These products are RoHS compliant and designed and manufactured according to ISO9001 standards.

■The PX3 series has the following two pressure ranges.

・1bar～70bar ・100kPa～7Mpa ・15psi～1,000psi

■Value for customers

Compatibility with solvents: common HFC (hydrofluorocarbon) coolants such as R410A and R134A, next generation low global warming potential (GWP) coolants such as R448A (Solstice® N40), R32, R1234ZE, engines Oil, petroleum-based hydraulic fluid, DOT 3 brake fluid, dry air. For ammonia and other corrosive media, please refer to Honeywell's SPT series. Enhanced durability: The PX2 series is capable of operating in harsh environments commonly found in HVAC/R and air compressor applications. The sensor has the ability to withstand over 10 million pressure cycles and an ingress protection rating of up to IP69K. Useful in applications where the need to know sensor functionality and internal and external failure modes is critical.
