About This Product
■MicroForce FMA series
N-force range Amplified, compensated Analog or digital (I2C or SPI) output
■Product overview
The FMA series is a piezoresistive-based force sensor that provides a ratiometric digital output of force over a specified full-scale force span and temperature range. The series is fully calibrated and temperature compensated for sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and nonlinearities with an onboard Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC).
Direct mechanical coupling facilitates interfacing with sensors, tubed couplings, membranes or plungers for reproducible performance and a reliable mechanical interface to your application. All products are designed and manufactured according to ISO 9001 standards. This product provides a stable output that is directly proportional to the force applied to the outer surface of a mechanically bonded metal sphere. The FMA series is supplied in pocket tape and reel packaging.
Value for customers
The FMA series is designed to meet your needs for a compensated, amplified force sensor that offers digital output, a variety of force sensing ranges, a small, cost-effective format, and superior durability and accuracy. . The product's flexible design offers multiple part numbers as standard over a wide operating temperature range.
■Differentiation
・Multiple force ranges allow users to select the force range that maximizes sensitivity and improves system resolution/performance
・By reducing the size of the package, it can be used in applications with space constraints.
- Designed with excellent robustness to ensure high durability in overload applications.
・Accuracy improvement includes all errors caused by force nonlinearity, force hysteresis, and non-repeatability.
・It has excellent overall error and can improve system performance.
-Digital output enhances performance through low conversion requirements and convenient direct interface to microprocessors
