Model MAV52 amplified piezoelectric accelerometers with velocity output are designed for use in industrial test and automation environments such as laboratory testing, modal analysis, and test cells. The MAV52 is ideal when the velocity component of the vibration is a useful parameter to measure and noise issues and system simplicity make integration of the sensor's acceleration signal more attractive than signal conditioning. Outputs from 4 mA to 20 mA are ideal for applications where noise, cable loss, and long conductor paths may be an issue.
Because the seismic elements are mechanically separated from the mounting base, base strain sensitivity is low. Stainless steel material is non-magnetic, making it less sensitive to magnetic fields. Features such as a sealed body ensure accurate and reliable data. Model MAV52 is available in a variety of configurations and options, including connectors, integrated stainless steel armored cable (specify length when ordering), on-board safety options, or submersible versions. Mounting holes can be supplied with various threads. Model MAV52 is available in a variety of sensitivities to match the vibration levels expected in your application.
