Honeywell SE and XE compact sealed basic switches are designed to accurately and reliably indicate position in critical applications in aircraft and military systems. Applications range from military and commercial aircraft and helicopters to military ground vehicles (trucks and wheeled vehicles). These switches are also suitable for other commercial and industrial applications where some degree of environmental sealing is required.
The environmentally sealed SE series is designed for harsh applications where water and particulate contaminants are present, and over a wide range of temperatures. The environmentally sealed miniature XE series is similar to the SE series, except for its smaller package size and the use of Honeywell's MICRO SWITCH SX subminiature electromechanical switches.
