About This Product

In response to customer requests for use in deeper waters, we developed the FUJI Metahara Underwater Light FK-15G. A water pressure test was conducted at the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC). *A test-specific acrylic case is used to prevent glass from shattering. Since the top and bottom are not sealed, water pressure is applied to the entire lamp. The high water pressure resistance performance of FUJI Metahara Underwater Light FK-15G was demonstrated at an official testing institute.

■Water pressure test retention time

・5.0MPa (equivalent to 500m) →20 minutes ・6.0MPa (equivalent to 600m) →20 minutes ・7.0MPa (equivalent to 700m) →20 minutes ・Refer to the underwater lamp water pressure test standard 20 minute retention of the Marine Fisheries Systems Association. A deeper challenge to further explore the possibilities of underwater lighting. Achieves water pressure resistance up to a depth of 700 m. In response to customer feedback and the possibility of new marine resources, we developed the high water pressure resistant FK-15G. Achieved a water depth equivalent to 700m [7.0MPa] as measured by JAMSTEC. The know-how gained through the development of the ``FK-15G'' has been applied to the entire ``FK series,'' which further improves durability and vibration resistance. 7.0MPa is a severe condition in which 70kg of water pressure per square meter is applied from all directions. To withstand this situation, precise strength design, carefully selected materials, and sophisticated and accurate processing techniques are required. By using a quartz bulb, the diameter has been reduced, making it easy to transport and store, just like the Nice Lamp.
