■Features

This is a precision horizontal lathe used for precise grooving of roll molds for forming optical sheets. It has the following features to obtain high precision mechanical movement and processing accuracy.

■High-precision mechanical movement, processing accuracy

By using linear motors for the X and Z axes, servo rigidity is improved and uneven feed and quadrant protrusions are reduced, resulting in extremely smooth feed. The guide surface uses a rolling guide surface with carefully selected needles arranged on an ultra-precision V-V surface with a lap finish. (ULR-628 (H) /-635B (H2) /-635B (H3): X, Z axis, ULR-515C (H): Z axis) Therefore, smooth and highly accurate movement and high rigidity can be obtained. . By integrating a synchronous built-in servo motor and using a high-precision encoder for the spindle motor, when using the spindle as an indexing axis (C-axis), high-precision indexing and positioning can be achieved by eliminating play in the mechanical system. .

■High-precision hydrostatic bearings (main shaft, C-axis)

The main shaft that supports the roll mold uses hydrostatic bearings to achieve high rotational accuracy. Additionally, the temperature of the hydrostatic oil is controlled by a high-precision temperature controller, resulting in a bearing with a stable temperature.

■High-precision aerostatic bearing (B axis)

High-precision positioning is achieved by using a high rotational precision air bearing for the slewing bearing of the tool post, a synchronous built-in servo motor, and a high-precision encoder like the main shaft. (ULR-628B (H) /-635B (H2) /-635B (H3) )

■Structure that resists thermal deformation due to environmental changes and drive system heat generation

By passing temperature-controlled cooling water through the structure of the bed, saddle, table, spindle, and B-axis, the structure is resistant to thermal deformation due to changes in the external environment or heat generated by the drive system.
