About This Product

Zaiput's backpressure regulators are specifically designed for flow synthesis needs. Our devices feature a unique combination of high precision, wide pressure range, and excellent chemical compatibility in a compact format. A backpressure regulator compares the pressure of the controlled fluid (mainstream) to a reference pressure. Mainstream flow is only allowed if its pressure meets the reference pressure. In addition, our pressure regulators have the unique feature that the set point is selected by the user. The user selects the backpressure setpoint by pressurizing air within the device's dedicated chamber. The set point is equal to the pressure of the air inside the device.

-Very accurate and precise. Error<<1% for flow rates from 0 to 1,000ml/min
・Adjustable setting values. Users can easily set any pressure of the BPR by adjusting the pressure of the compressed air chamber.
・Excellent performance for both gas and liquid use. Designed for flows containing gases, liquids, or multiple phases.
- Resistant to clogging. Eliminates very small orifices that can cause blockages and overpressure.
・Possibility as a relief valve. This prevents overpressure in the flow process. Acts as a relief valve.
・Excellent compatibility. Processed from materials with excellent chemical resistance (ETFE, PFA, etc.), so it is compatible with a wide range of organic solvents and acidic and basic solutions.
-Easy to install and introduce into any process pipeline

■PrincipleThe BPR has a chamber that the user fills with compressed air. The input air pressure represents the device's backpressure set point. An elastic sheet blocks the process fluid flow path and allows the process fluid pressure to be compared to a reference pressure. That is, the process fluid can only flow through the device if its pressure is equal to the reference pressure.
