About This Product

The solar transformer's "α function" and "sharing" structure make it possible to save space, reduce costs, and shorten the construction period for the entire solar power generation facility. A solar power generation transformer with a built-in auxiliary transformer in a step-up transformer. Soratra S1α has been added with excitation inrush current suppression function to Soratra S1. Features

■Solar transformer α function

Countermeasures against instantaneous voltage drops that need to be taken into account when connecting power generation equipment to the grid. Since the solar transformer α suppresses the magnetizing inrush current that causes this, it becomes possible to take measures against instantaneous voltage drops with the transformer, eliminating the need for a separate device to suppress the magnetizing inrush current.

■What is instantaneous voltage fluctuation countermeasure?

If the voltage drop due to magnetizing inrush current has a large impact on the grid and exceeds the allowable value specified in the grid interconnection regulations, suppression of the magnetizing inrush current will be required during grid interconnection negotiations. In some cases, the generated magnetizing inrush current is suppressed by attached equipment, but the Soratra α has a structure in which the transformer itself suppresses the magnetizing inrush current.

■Sharing type

Sharing multiple functions on one device. Consolidates up to 3 transformers into one. Space-saving of the entire solar power generation equipment - Wiring can be omitted.
