■High efficiency/energy saving
Top Runner motors are particularly recommended for applications that require long-term operation, as their power-saving effect increases in proportion to the operating time. Annual power saving price comparison: 0.75kW-4 poles, 9,100 yen reduction, 1.5kW-4 poles, 12,700 yen reduction.
■Uses high-performance gears and reinforced frame
Gears are cut using a carbide hobbing machine. We perform excellent tooth profile correction, crowning processing, and careful heat treatment. Depending on the model, highly accurate "high-performance gears" are used, each of which is finished using a state-of-the-art gear honing machine. Furthermore, we have adopted a unique casing created through thorough stress analysis, achieving excellent durability and high reliability.
■Adoption of double-row seal structure (0.75-7.5kW)
Extensive manufacturing experience and rich creativity. This gave rise to superior technology. Conventional grease-lubricated gear motors had one problem. This is due to the fact that as the operating time passes, metal particles from the wear of the gears get mixed into the grease, and over time they stick between the lip of the oil seal and the motor pinion shaft, scraping the shaft and creating a gap.
This gap caused grease to leak into the motor. Even just one drop of grease leaking can have an immeasurable impact on the products flowing through the production line. Therefore, Hitachi independently developed a double-row seal structure. Arrange the oil seals in a double row, and fill the space between them with lip-specific grease. As a result, the main oil seal is always lubricated with a clean special grease that is free of metal particles. This is how the double row seal structure works.
As a result, we have achieved a lifespan approximately 10 times longer than our conventional grease seals, and are more environmentally friendly, require less maintenance, and are more reliable.
