About This Product

■Summary

MiCAM03-N256 is a world standard optical measurement system that can rapidly capture and image minute changes in fluorescence brightness in biological samples stained with fluorescent probes such as membrane voltage-sensitive dyes and calcium dyes. While inheriting the basic performance such as high-speed shooting, high S/N ratio, and intuitive operation method, new features have been added such as higher pixels with a newly developed CMOS camera head and long-time recording with high-speed data transfer. We have evolved into an unprecedented imaging system.

■Main features

・Number of pixels: 256x256 / 128x128 pixels (ROI setting is also possible with optional functions) ・Receiving surface size: 17.6mmx17.6mm ・S/N ratio: >71dB ・Number of connectable cameras: 2 ・Maximum frame rate: 1,000fps (256x256 pixels), 1,000fps (128x128 pixels) (high-speed settings possible with optional functions)

■Application

・Membrane potential imaging using membrane potential-sensitive dyes ・Calcium imaging using in vivo brain samples and cultured cardiomyocytes ・Intrinsic fluorescence signal imaging derived from flavoproteins and hemoglobin ・Imaging using various fluorescent proteins such as FRET, GCaMP, and GEVI ・Ratio imaging using dual cameras ・Multi-angle shooting using 2 cameras ・Detection of weak brightness changes due to normal high-speed photography

■Others

The spatial resolution and maximum frame rate are the values when ``one camera is connected''. There are no expansion unit slots, real-time brightness monitor output, light source control output, current output, acquisition status output, or trigger wait status output.
