About This Product

■Guide plunger syringe (GP)

The diameter of the plunger inside the barrel is thick and prevents the plunger from bending.

■Durability due to advanced glass surface processing technology

Thanks to innovative technology improvements, the smoothness of the glass surface inside the syringe has been dramatically improved. This smoothness reduces plunger wear and greatly improves service life. Due to this smoothness, the lifespan can be improved by up to 10 times compared to other companies' syringes.

■Improved installation of replacement needles

Conventionally, a strong adhesive with sufficient strength was used to secure the brass hub to the needle of a replacement needle. However, there have been cases where some problems have occurred in the bonded areas due to unexpected stress or the influence of solvents. Therefore, we have now changed the method of fixing the needle and brass hub for the replacement needle from the conventional method to silver brazing, further improving the robustness of fixing the replacement needle and hub.

■Accuracy

SGE syringes redefine precision. Eliminates areas where liquids that can cause carryover are trapped inside. Carryover and dead volume have been significantly reduced by the following techniques: ・Nano volume syringe: Discharge amount accuracy ±2% ・Standard micro syringe: Discharge amount accuracy ±1% ・Gas tight syringe: Discharge rate accuracy ±1%

■PTFE plunger tip design

For syringes that use PTFE plunger tips, by eliminating areas where solution can be trapped, we eliminate dead volume and suppress carryover and cross-contamination. Carryover has been greatly improved by discharging the plunger tip precisely at the zero position and in close contact with the insert without any gaps.

■Replacement needle (R)

Since only the needle can be replaced, it is suitable for sampling samples with a lot of dirt or salts that tend to precipitate. It is also possible to change to a needle with a different shape (needle outer diameter/length, needle tip shape) depending on the application.
