About This Product
Dry Lube for Damper is a high-concentration, quick-drying lubricant developed to reduce friction in the sliding parts of piston rods in cars and motorcycles. It provides an excellent lubrication effect just by applying it to the area of use, and maintenance can be completed in a short time. In addition, dry lubrication prevents dirt from being drawn in like oil and grease.
The piston rod (insert) section and dust seal (oil seal) section generally have a highly airtight structure to prevent dust and foreign matter from entering, which hinders the compression/expansion response inside the damper and delays the generation of damping force. This is one of the factors. By improving the friction loss that was a bottleneck in the dust seal, the damping force builds up quickly, reducing vibrations from the road surface and the feeling of bumping up.
At the same time, the damper's traction (load transfer) becomes faster, reducing the feeling of wandering. *Do not use on dampers with oil leaks.
