About This Product
Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2)-based dry lube uses MoS2 with a purity of 99.99%, which is obtained by pulverizing natural bright molybdenum ore, sorting it using a flotation method, and completely removing impurities using a special refining method. The molecular structure of MoS2 is a layered lattice structure, with each layer consisting of a molybdenum atom sandwiched by two sulfur atoms on both sides.
The bond between molybdenum and sulfur is very strong, while the bond between sulfur and sulfur is weak, so it slides easily under low shearing forces, providing lubrication and anti-friction properties.
Reduces the coefficient of friction, provides stable lubricity even under harsh sliding conditions, and prevents galling (seizing) and wear. A special binder forms a tough film that can be used permanently depending on the usage conditions.
