About This Product

This device is a sensor that measures the total amount of sunlight. It captures the solar energy that enters the earth's surface through direct light from the sun and scattering from the sky, and outputs a voltage proportional to the amount of solar radiation (W/m2).

■Features

・As the sensitive part uses a thermopile coated with black paint, it has a wider measurement wavelength range and higher accuracy and sensitivity than pyranometers using silicon photodiodes. - The sensitive area is covered with a glass dome with excellent spectral transparency to keep the interior airtight and protect the sensitive surface from heat convection, wind and rain, etc. - By installing a cover that blocks sunlight from entering the main unit, the temperature rise of the main unit is reduced and accuracy is prevented from decreasing due to temperature characteristics. - A ventilation fan is installed to prevent condensation and frost from forming on the glass dome. - A type without ventilation fan (CMP-03E) is also available. ・You can obtain certification from the Japan Meteorological Agency.
