About This Product

■Summary

Rammaster is a device manufactured by Stress Photonics that measures residual stress in glass. By evaluating the annealing level of glass, Rammaster can solve various problems that occur when cutting glass. The system can display stress maps of very thin areas through the glass thickness as 2D images, including compression at the surface and extension at the center. The measurement recording format is a parabolic stress profile and various measured values ​​recorded in a spreadsheet format. Easy set-up, just place the sample into the Rammaster cartridge-type reader and close the lid. The cut specimen is placed in matching fluid for measurement in the reader. Matching liquid can reduce reflections from jagged or chipped areas of the sample, so little preparation is required for the test sample. Lammaster 2000 can also display striae, a layer of light that can be seen in glass and is a guide to the formation of glass.
