About This Product

■Summary

This fiber optic refractive index sensor FRI (fiber optic refractometer) has a unique design that allows it to measure the refractive index of various liquids. Refractive index measurement is a Fabry-Perot cavity length measurement using white light interference technology. The length of a liquid-filled FPI cavity varies directly with the refractive index of the liquid. The signal conditioner does not require complicated calibration operations and can be reset in air. The measured RI value corresponds to the average refractive index of a region with a radius of 800 nm. Refractive index sensors have enabled in-situ refractive index measurements and long-term monitoring of various processes (e.g. food processing and chemical plants). This eliminates the need for sampling, eliminates problems caused by repeated measurements, and establishes operational efficiency and improved safety and quality control. There are two types of sensors: ultra-compact type (BA) and stainless steel type (NP).
