About This Product

This is a characteristic impedance TDR measuring instrument that has improved ease of use, anti-static performance, and lower running costs than the previous model (CITS900s4). What's more, triple anti-static TDR head protection measures have been taken to ensure long-term use with peace of mind.

■Comprehensive test solutionCITS880s uses TDR technology to measure the reflection of high-speed rising pulses, displays the characteristic impedance of the coupon graphically in the time domain, and has a pass/fail judgment function.

■ Covers a wide measurement area with high precisionThe CITS880s is calibrated over a wide range of 28, 50, 75, 100, 150 Ω (single) by traceable NPI and NIST recognized international standard precision airlines to ensure wide range accuracy.

■Improved operability through automationOperation of the CITS880s is extremely easy due to its high precision and software automation.

■Test results are automatically judged pass/fail each time, and a report is automatically created.・Measurement range 20-150Ω (single), 40-200Ω (differential)

New features
■Short traceAccurate impedance measurement is possible even with a length of about 1/3 of the conventional coupon length, allowing the coupon to be made smaller. By making coupons smaller, it becomes possible to increase the number of panel impositions.

■LPE functionWhen the transmission line is thin, an increase in track resistance such as DC resistance/AC resistance causes the TDR waveform to slope upward. These resistive components must be removed to measure pure transmission line impedance. The LPE function allows measurement of points with no resistance component by extrapolation.

■Groundless differential probeAvailable for CITS880s only. The feature is that the probe tip is variable, and as long as the conditions are met, it is possible to directly measure the pattern on the board, making it possible to measure impedance with higher accuracy.
