About This Product

■Product introductionThe SUMILITE® CEL series is a multilayer composite film/sheet developed by Sumitomo Bakelite Co., Ltd. in 1976 (Showa 51) for the first time in the world using a coextrusion method. These are high-performance films and sheets that can be used in a variety of packaging applications, such as deep-drawn vacuum packs for food, gas packs, and skin packs. It can be used for a wide range of purposes by taking advantage of the characteristics of various plastics.

■Functional films and sheets that meet diverse needs with the latest technologyA multilayer composite film/sheet with excellent formability, oxygen gas barrier properties, pinhole resistance, high transparency, gloss, easy peelability, and flatness required for food packaging. Food hygiene standards comply with "Ministry of Health and Welfare Notification No. 370 of 1950".

■Lineup that can meet various required characteristicsVacuum high barrier/low barrier, boil easy peel, complete seal, etc. are applicable to a wide range of hams/sausages, hamburgers, seafood/paste products, frozen foods, etc.

Usage example
■Vacuum high barrier (non-boil)We increase product appeal by meeting various requirements such as oxygen barrier properties, curling, transparency, gloss, pinhole resistance, moldability, cutability, easy peelability, and sealability.

■Vacuum High Barrier (Boil Easy Peel)Products such as hamburgers and meatballs that are packaged in hot water and cooked must be opened safely from the perspective of product liability laws. Boil EP is a safe material that maintains its strength against impacts during distribution and temperature changes during boiling, and is easy to open when used.

■Vacuum high barrier (complete boiling seal)For sauces and blocks, we also have completely sealed grades. Recently, there has been a shift from "pillow packaging" to "deep drawing" especially for blocks. Our block packaging materials are highly evaluated for their excellent gloss and pinhole resistance.

■Vacuum low barrierThis product has excellent pinhole resistance due to the combination of special nylon and special polyethylene, mainly for frozen foods and pressed seafood products.
