About This Product

This device is a tablet inspection device that is a visual inspection device for tablets, equipped with an automatic inspection device and a removal device. Automatic inspection uses a line camera to input images of the front and back sides of tablets flowing in parallel on a belt conveyor, processes the images on a computer, and detects defects such as foreign objects, dirt, and cracks on the tablet surface. When a defect is detected, a signal is output externally and an image of the defect is saved. Because the tablets are transported on a belt conveyor, there is less destruction of the tablets during inspection, and it is easy to incorporate into visual inspection lines. Optionally, side inspection of tablets can also be added.

■Inspection software overview

This is an inspection program that automatically inspects tablets using images. Inspection conditions are set based on the product name, and OK/NG is determined based on the input tablet image. When a defect is detected, a signal is output and displayed on the computer, and the results are saved as a file upon completion.

■Inspection software Inspection parameter settings

- Variety registration: product name, tablet size, threshold value ・Standard image creation: Create and register a standard image (good product) ・Mask processing: Mask creation, registration (inspection area) ・Image processing: Differential processing (vertical/horizontal), binarization threshold (0 to 255) ・Judgment: Judgment based on the XY Feret diameter and area of ​​the defective part using multiple thresholds

■Inspection software Inspection results

・Output defect detection signal externally (DIO to terminal block) ・Inspection status display: Monitor display (total number of inspections, number of good tablets, number of defective tablets, tablet images, etc.) ・Result file saving: Save as a CSV format file at the end of the test. Image of defective tablet detected, size of defective part (number of pixels)
