About This Product

■Product description

This is a smoke streamline generator for visualization of streamlines in wind tunnel experiments and tracer particles for airflow image analysis measurements using laser light. The smoke generating agent is an aqueous solution, and the smoke evaporates in a few minutes, so the background concentration level will not increase even when used in a circulating air path. Both the amount of smoke generated and the density of smoke generated are digitally set, making it easy to operate.

■Equipment usage examples

・Visualization of airflow around test specimens in wind tunnel experiments ・Tracer particles in PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) measurement ・Verification of optimization of air intake and exhaust around equipment and ventilation equipment ・Observation of air flow of cooling air and dry air to materials, products, etc.

■Features

・The generated smoke follows the air flow at room temperature. It does not cause natural convection like steam or dry ice. ・Smoke can be pumped using a hose. It can be guided to the nozzle with a smoke guide hose. -Uses a water-soluble glycol-based smoke agent, so there is almost no odor and is not harmful. ・Drainage of smoke generating agent does not accumulate inside the device. -Smoke generation amount is set digitally. -Nozzles vary depending on the application, so we manufacture them according to customer requests.
