About This Product

"E-Barrier" is an EMC countermeasure product jointly developed by Foam Kasei Co., Ltd. and Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. It passes UL flame retardancy standards and complies with the RoHS 2 Directive. By manufacturing in-house and leveraging the advantages of the Furukawa Electric Group, a metal foil manufacturer, we deliver high-performance products in small lots and many varieties, slit to the dimensions you request. We also handle special cuts (such as half cuts) and die-cutting for connector sections, rivet holes, and the like.

■Features

・A high-performance product using a high-performance halogen-free urethane foam already patented in Japan and China. ・Every shielding soft packing product passes UL94 V-0. *Some products are excluded. ・Every conductive shielding tape product passes UL510FR. *Some products are excluded. ・All products also comply with the RoHS Directive. ・By manufacturing and selling from our own plant, we can offer low prices, small lots, many varieties, and short lead times. ・We cut the product to your requested dimensions in-house before delivery. ・We also handle special cuts (such as half cuts) . ・We also handle die-cutting for connector sections, rivet holes, and the like.

■Applications

Shielding and static electricity countermeasures for computers, peripherals, communication equipment, measuring instruments, automobiles and aircraft, electrical equipment, home appliances, and the like.

■Product Specifications

・The standard product length is 1,000 mm. (Some products are excluded) ・A conductive aluminum foil tape with a highly conductive halogen-free adhesive coated onto an aluminum foil carrier. ・Being flexible, it is easy to wrap and apply. ・Because high conductivity is obtained in both the thickness and length directions, it can be used for electromagnetic shielding, static electricity removal, and similar purposes.
