About This Product

■Applications ・Measures the moisture content in oil such as heavy oil and lubricating oil. It can be used to monitor moisture levels and control alarms. -Since the dielectric constants of oil and water are significantly different (oil: approx. 2-3/water: approx. 80), the dielectric constant of oil is measured, and the water content is continuously measured based on the change in dielectric constant of oil. ・Oil is passed through an electrode with a coaxial cylindrical structure. Calibration is performed once for each oil type, allowing highly accurate and stable moisture measurement. ・It has a temperature correction function and a function that can handle several types of oil. ■Features ・The converter and display are integrated, making it compact and easy to use. - Due to the simple electrode structure, there is little pressure loss and long life. -Uses a high-precision capacitance converter, allowing stable moisture measurement. - Temperature compensation is performed, so measurement errors will not occur even if there is a change in oil temperature (for example, from room temperature to 60°C). - The display has an oil type registration function, so it can be used with a wide variety of oils. ■Operating principle ・When the sensor (electrode) is filled only with oil, the converter will indicate "2". On the other hand, when it is filled only with water, it shows "80" (it captures the difference in dielectric constant; 80 is the dielectric constant of water, and 2 is the dielectric constant of oil). - If even one drop of water enters in this state, the converter will change significantly to the positive side. A moisture meter captures this difference. ・If you adjust the converter so that it shows "0V" when only oil is present, and "1V" when 1% water is in the oil, it will show "2V" when 2% water is in the oil. Masu. ・In other words, capacitance changes linearly with respect to moisture.
