About This Product

Cleaning fluids (semi-aqueous cleaners) improve the quality of processed products through cleaning. Until now, Fluorocarbon 113 and trichloroethane have been the primary cleaning agents. However, due to their impact on ozone layer depletion, cleaning with Fluorocarbon 113 is being phased out (except for specific Fluorocarbons), and trichloroethane has been identified as harmful.

As a result, various cleaning agents have been introduced as alternatives to Fluorocarbons. Among these, "semi-aqueous" cleaners have excellent cleaning power and are expected to replace Fluorocarbons.

To ensure safe cleaning, semi-aqueous cleaners are used in aqueous solutions containing a few percent water. This requires moisture management. While near-infrared (IR) methods have been the norm in this field, our affordable, highly accurate moisture analyzers (capacitive type) have become popular with many users.

These moisture analyzers display moisture, temperature, capacitance, and conductivity. Their capacitance method makes them ideal for moisture management in semi-aqueous cleaners. Our inexpensive and highly accurate moisture meters have been well received by many customers.
