About This Product

This pump is equipped with the world's first single-point continuous contact gear with a missing circular gear as standard. The missing circular gear is a positive displacement pump for liquid transfer that eliminates the liquid confinement phenomenon that occurs with conventional involute gears and achieves low noise, low vibration, and long life. It is used for applications such as transfer pumps.

■ Gear pump operating principle

This pump contains pumped liquid in the space created by meshing gears that rotate inside the casing, and the liquid travels around the inner circumference of the casing from the suction side to the discharge side, and is a type of positive displacement pump. Our gear pump uses a circular gear.

- Missing circular gear (Taiko gear pump): Continuous contact at one point, so no entrapment phenomenon occurs. Vibration and noise reduction. ・Involute gear: Confinement phenomenon: When two points come into contact, the liquid compresses and expands, causing vibration and noise.

■Gear pump bearing
