About This Product

This pump is equipped with the world's first single-point continuous contact gear with a missing circular gear as standard. The missing circular gear is a positive displacement pump for liquid transfer that eliminates the liquid confinement phenomenon that occurs with conventional involute gears and achieves low noise, low vibration, and long life. It is used for applications such as transfer pumps.

・Capacity: 0.25~1,500m3/h ・Maximum discharge pressure: ~1.6MPa

■ Gear pump operating principle

This pump contains pumped liquid in the space created by meshing gears that rotate inside the casing, and the liquid travels around the inner circumference of the casing from the suction side to the discharge side, and is a type of positive displacement pump. Our gear pump uses a circular gear.

■Gear pump gear shape comparison

- Missing circular gear (Taiko gear pump): Continuous contact at one point, so no entrapment phenomenon occurs. Vibration and noise reduction. ・Involute gear: Confinement phenomenon: When two points come into contact, the liquid compresses and expands, causing vibration and noise.

■Features of missing circular gears

■Gear pump bearing

As the name suggests, bearings are classified into the following two types based on the structure of the mechanical component that supports the shaft. ・Sliding bearings: Bearings that perform sliding motion due to contact between the shaft and the bearing. ・2-rolling bearing: A bearing that has rolling elements (balls and rollers) placed between the inner and outer rings to perform rolling motion.
