About This Product

The Roots blower is a 2-axis roots-type blower, and the impeller shape is available in two-lobed and three-lobed series depending on the application. We can produce blowers with diameters ranging from 20A for small sizes to 700A for large sizes, one of the largest in Japan.We have a wide range of models that can handle everything from low pressure to high pressure, air to special gases, and are used for water treatment, pneumatic transportation, gas circulation, and PSA. It is used for purposes such as.

■Roots blower operating principle

It is a type of positive displacement pump in which the impellers rotating inside the casing rotate non-contact while maintaining a small gap between them, thereby transferring gas from the suction side to the discharge side around the inside of the casing. Our Roots blowers use a 2-leaf impeller or a 3-leaf impeller.

■Roots blower impeller shape

The tip (top) of the impeller profile has a face seal with the inner periphery of the casing, and this step generates a reverse overflow to prevent gas from blowing in the opposite direction to the rotor rotation direction. This reduces the amount of leakage, increases efficiency, and has an energy-saving effect. Reduction of internal leakage. If the top is an arc, the sealing effect will be weak and internal leakage will occur easily.
