About This Product

HLB-R is an improved type of HLB and uses the same wedge-based integrated structure technology. Even if high loads are applied repeatedly, the initial pressurization can be maintained for a long period of time. This also leads to longer life of rotating bodies and bearings.

■Integrated wedge technology maintains initial pressurization and prevents bearing damage

This is the ultimate anti-loosening lock nut, which uses the traditional Japanese technique of "wedge" to drive into the gap between bolts and nuts, which unifies the screws and completely eliminates loosening of the screws. As a result, an appropriate initial preload amount can be maintained for a long period of time, and various damage to the bearing caused by a decrease in rigidity can be prevented.

■It can be reused like the current HLB, and the thread strength is more than twice that of general nuts.

・Compared to a general lock nut made of the same material, HLB-R has approximately twice the number of threads when set, so the overall thread strength of the nut is also more than twice as strong, according to experimental results. - Using a fatigue testing machine, we repeated a high load of 15% (30kN) of the thread shear strength (approximately 200kN for M20) 1 million times, and neither the HLB nor the bolt broke.

■Like the current HLB, it can be applied to shafts with key grooves without damaging the threads.

Like regular nuts, the threads of each uneven nut are not deformed, so the threads of bolts and nuts will not be damaged even if the shaft with a keyway machined is tightened and tightened dozens of times.

■The convex nut has a seat and improves thread accuracy to reduce the inclination of the seat surface.

- By making the convex nut with a seat, it will not come into contact with the outer ring of the bearing. ・By tightening the convex nut with a large number of threads, it can withstand repeated high loads. ・The convex nut has a large number of threads, improving thread accuracy, and has a seat, which reduces the tendency of the nut to tilt.

■The concave lock nut is eccentric, making it easy to adjust the balance of the center of gravity.

After first fixing the bearing with the convex nut, it becomes possible to adjust the eccentric concave nut to a position where the overall center of gravity is balanced.
