About This Product

The HLB uses the same wedge-integrated structure technology as the Hardlock Nut, so it can maintain the initial preload for a long period of time no matter how large a repeated load is applied. This also leads to longer life of rotating bodies and bearings.

■Integrated wedge technology maintains initial rigidity and initial preload to prevent bearing damage.

This is the ultimate anti-loosening lock nut, which uses the traditional Japanese technique of "wedge" to drive the screws into the gaps between bolts and nuts, which unifies the screws and completely eliminates the loosening of the screws. As a result, an appropriate initial preload amount can be maintained for a long period of time, and various damage to the bearing caused by a decrease in rigidity can be prevented.

■Thread shear strength is more than twice that of general bearing lock nuts (for uneven set)

・Thread shear strength test using a universal testing machine: Compared to a general lock nut made of the same material, HLB has approximately twice the number of threads when set, so the overall thread strength of the nut is more than double. It becomes. ・High load repeated durability test: Using a fatigue testing machine, a high load of 15% (30kN) of the thread shear strength (approximately 200kN for M20) was repeated 1 million times, and both the HLB and bolt were destroyed. That never happened.

■Can also be applied to shafts with key grooves machined (does not damage threads)

Like regular nuts, the threads of each uneven nut are not deformed, so the threads of bolts and nuts will not be damaged even if the shaft with a keyway machined is tightened and tightened dozens of times.

■Easy and good tightening work

Like regular lock nuts, the uneven nuts do not have their threads deformed, so the first nut can be seated in the bearing by finger-tightening. You can then easily tighten each nut with a hook spanner.
