About This Product

High Power Multi is a system pioneered in the industry in 2003 to further promote the power saving feature of GHP. A high-performance small generator is operated by the gas engine at the same time as the compressor, and the generated electricity is supplied to the fan motor and cooling water pump inside the outdoor unit. The power generation efficiency of the installed generator exceeds the demand end thermal efficiency (Act on the Conservation of Energy) for both cooling and heating. By combining high-efficiency generators and power conditioner technology cultivated through solar power generation systems, power consumption can be reduced to just the amount of one light bulb. This is approximately 1/10 compared to a standard GHP, and approximately 1/100 or less compared to an electric heat pump (EHP) of the same class. Although gas consumption increases slightly due to the addition of the power generation system, running costs can be reduced compared to conventional GHP due to the reduction in contract power due to power saving and high efficiency operation. It also reduces CO2 emissions and contributes to environmental conservation. The high power multi is the same as the standard model in terms of the air conditioning capacity, dimensions, workability, ease of installation, maintenance cycles, etc. of the connected indoor and outdoor units. If the generated power is insufficient, the system automatically makes up for the shortage from commercial power, which maintains the same reliability as standard models.
